  Goodhue County

The City of Kenyon is located in the southwest corner of Goodhue County. Red Wing, the county seat of Goodhue, is located approximately 40 miles northeast of Kenyon. The county website serves as an online resource to county government and services. 

  Goodhue County Historical Society

Goodhue County Historical Society serves as the steward for county history by collecting, preserving, and promoting the natural and cultural history of Goodhue County through education and outreach. Minnesota’s oldest county historical society, the Goodhue County Historical Society was chartered in 1869.

Purchase your tokens/passes at Kenyon City Hall.  Service hours will be 7:30 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Call dispatch at 866-623-7505 Monday through Friday 6 am-9 pm and Saturday 7:00 am-5:00 pm to start scheduling your rides! All rides are scheduled through dispatch at 866-623-7505 and based on first come, first served. Residents can expect a fare of $1.75 each way for rides within city limits of Kenyon and Wanamingo.

  Kenyon Public Library

The Kenyon Public Library is part of the Southeastern Libraries Cooperating (SELCO) Minnesota Regional Public Library System. The library serves primarily the residents of the City of Kenyon and Goodhue County.

  The Kenyon Leader

The Kenyon Leader is the official legal newspaper of the City of Kenyon. The Kenyon Leader has been serving the residents of Kenyon and surrounding area since 1885. 

  Kenyon-Wanamingo Schools

Independent School District 2172 serves the communities of Kenyon and Wanamingo and surrounding rural areas. The K-4 Elementary School is located in Wanamingo, while the 5-12 Middle/High School is located in Kenyon.
